Sommer in Mallnitz

The small high-altitude health resort, Mallnitz, offers the opportunity to relax or enjoy a variety of sports.

Mountain lovers are spoilt by a choice between hiking tours through the valleys to mountain huts or more challenging tours to the various mountain peaks which are among the highest in Austria and are mostly within the National Park Hohe Tauern. You can participate in wild animal observation or visit the National Park Center BIOS.

Very sportive guests will enjoy the fixed rope routes, climbing opportunities and mountain bike tracks. In Obervellach (8 km from Mallnitz) you have the possibilities of wild water rafting, canyoning and horseback riding.
